In order to consolidate and strengthen its business lines and promote the new challenges of international growth and consolidate its business, Cooltra is looking for a Chief Legal Officer to lead all the legal aspects of our companies at a global level.

This profile, reporting directly to the CEO, will be the cornerstone of our legal strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance and mitigating legal risks in all our national and international operations.

Your responsibilities will focus on the following areas:

• Compliance: Ensure compliance with standards in all processes in which Cooltra intervenes, both internally (between departments and other Group companies), as well as with third parties, manufacturers, suppliers, customers and users, specially focused on Crime Prevention, and GDPR and e-commerce.
• Establish guidelines at the corporate level from the Holding and their implementation in the other subsidiaries of the Group, adapting them to the local regulations of each country.
• Daily assistance and support to the different departments and Cooltra Group BL in the resolution of consultations, conflict management and negotiation, preparation and review of all kinds of documents and contracts.
• Comprehensive advice to the Holding and the rest of the Group companies, both corporate and business.
• Attendance at Shareholders' Meetings and Board of Directors sessions; Secretary of the Board, write corresponding documentation.
• Coordinate and manage actions with lawyers and external collaborators.
• Management, control and monitoring of Insurance Policies at a corporate level.
• Management, control and monitoring of claims arising from uncollected invoices.

Key skills:

• Minimum 10 years experience in a corporate legal department or law firm.
• Mandatory: Residence in Barcelona and advanced level of Spanish.
• Mandatory: Member of the bar (Spain).
• Fluent in English.
